Hi---Living in Wisconsin, been divorced for over 5 years. Looking for friends to talk to, do things with when I have free time. Kids are with me most of the time....they are over 10, but one is disabled. Finding it hard to find a man who will accept my baggage.

"Great/Gal"
Hi there, although I've never been married, I was with my ex for over 5 years before I left. Things may seem hard now, but they definitely get better. And as far as your "baggage" goes, I don't think any person has "baggage", I believe every person has problems at one time or another in their lives, every person has them. It's going to get better. I always tell myself at hart times,,"Tough times don't last forever, but tough people do" You'll find that special person one day without even trying.

Hi "GreatGal"
Although I've never been married, I was with my ex for over 5 years. Separation is tough, but time heals all wounds. I'd have to disagree with you about "the baggage" remark though. I believe every person on this planet goes through tough times, has worries, problems, etc, etc. Just remember "tough times don't last forever, but tough people do". It doesn't sound like anything you're going through is "baggage", you just have to find that special person who will accept what you're going through. Me, personnally prefer to date women with kids. They have a better understanding of what I go through raising my daughter. I have her 24/7, so I don't get no breaks, or vacation, etc. Things may be tough now, but I always try and say to myself, someone else has it worse than me. Believe me, finding a woman who will accept my life isn't easy either. Single women don't get it, period ! It's all about them, throw a man who's raising a kid and the attention they're accustomed to is diverted to the kid, and relationship failure most times. Things may seem bad, but they get better, I promise
